Terms:

Customers are encouraged to read these terms carefully before renting a garment from Bag&Tag (Bagandtag ehf.) www.bagandtag.is.
By using the website, online store, or rental service from Bag&Tag, you agree to these terms. These terms explain, among other things, what happens if an item is returned late, gets damaged or lost.

By renting an item in-store or through Bag&Tag’s website, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions without reservation, as they are at the time.

Rental terms:

All items on Bag&Tag’s website are intended for short-term rentals of a minimum and maximum two days, and prices shown are based on a two-day rental period. The items are not for sale, and customers do not become owners of the products through their transactions with the company unless otherwise clearly stated.

The customer selects the start and end of the rental period at the time of ordering. The listed price assumes the item is picked up and returned at the agreed time. If the item is returned late, Bag&Tag reserves the right to charge an hourly late fee of ISK 1,990 for every hour past the scheduled return time, which is 2:00 PM the next day. Keep in mind that many garments go directly back into rotation for other customers, and time is needed to inspect and clean them between rentals.

Bag&Tag guarantees the item is in the best possible condition at the start of the rental, keeping in mind that most items are pre-used and may show signs of wear. The customer is responsible for inspecting and accepting the item’s condition at pickup.

Responsibility for the rented item transfers to the customer upon pickup and remains with them until it is returned to a Bag&Tag staff member. During the rental period, the customer is fully responsible for any damage or loss, and may not sublease or sell Bag&Tag items under any circumstances.

If an item is damaged beyond rentable condition, lost or stolen, Bag&Tag reserves the right to charge the estimated resale value of the item based on its pre-rental condition. Additionally, Bag&Tag may charge a lower amount to cover repair costs.

Insurance fee:

Bag&Tag requires customers to pay an ISK 1,800 insurance fee per order to cover minor repairs. This fee is non-refundable.

Pricing:

All prices listed on the website are subject to printing errors.
Bag&Tag reserves the right to cancel orders, for example, due to incorrect price information, and to change prices or discontinue products without notice. This also applies to errors in pricing logic within the online store.

Accuracy of information:

Efforts are made to ensure the accuracy of product information and photos on the site. Minor discrepancies may occur. Other information is provided with a disclaimer for typographical errors or minor update delays.

Changes to terms & disputes :

Bag&Tag reserves the right to change these rules and terms without notice.
These terms are to be interpreted in accordance with Icelandic law.
Any legal disputes related to these terms shall be resolved in the District Court of Reykjavík.
